Sustain - NOW!!

For those who were wondering, why it is so quiet on this site At this point we are writing new material and the live-band, as you all knew, stopped existing.The plan is to release the new album as a project.To promote the new album there will be a new live line-up.

People who might be interested in getting involved in the new project.(singers, bassists) don't hesitade to contact me at info@sustainonline.nl.

As some of the visitors already noticed. Sustain had to cancel the gig in the Wagenhuis, Nieuw Vossemeer. This because of the fact that Dave had serious problems with his back side and for that matter he was not able to travel for two hours. We are glad that the organisation was able to find replacement at short notice. Thanks to Roadkill. We hope to get a chance and do a gig at the wagenhuis anyway.!!

And then there was the Booch? festival. We hope that everyone that came to our show will put an entry to our guestbook, that way we are going to have some heavy traffic on our site. Despite of Dave's injury he went on stage and played the show. What some pills can do to someone!! Our first outdoor festival was great and the audience was a blast. We hope to see all of you in the near future.

As soon as we have some pics, we'll ad them to give you an impression of the show.

Finally another update!! Next to the already confirmed gig in Nieuw Vossemeer august the 19th,Sustain will appear on the Booch? festival in heerlen.. We'll play on the 20th of august. Our gig will start around 14.30u at the pancratiusplein and of course we'll make a big party of it.

On august the 12th the rockprogram MainstreaM Rockradio will give Sustain some extra attention with a small interview with Hille.If you want to hear this, check out the live stream of MainstreaM on their site.

Furthermore it will be quiet around Sustain, because we have started writing on new material. The plan is to releaze the new record at the beginning of 2007

Ok then. The Elektra gig in Sliedrecht is done. It was great and we hope to visit this nice place again. Great people, good beer and of course good music. .

And then of course our upcoming gig in Nieuw Vossemeer the 19th of august. We are already looking forward in our first collabration with Cell29. A rock-coverband that plays there covers with an own tough.

We've ended up second place in the Booch? contest. But nevertheless it was a great gig. The fact that we're not doing anything new, is not new for us!!! So Fuck that, as I catched up from several people. Anyway we hope that the organisation will think of us if when there are holes in their programm.

The Mezz gig from last saturday was a blast. The audience was great and the chemistrie between both bands was very good. This is something we should do again in our opinion. We'd like to thank the people from After Forever, the Mezz, all the crew etc. for their contribution to this crazy night of Rock'n'Roll !!! Check the pics section for an impression of the gig.

Then Sustain turned out to be best of second place bands in the Booch? contest and so we may play at the final of the contest. It is short notice, but we hope to see some friends of ours at the gig. And then of course we are already excited about the Gig at the Electra in Sliedrecht, with our friends from Cooper Inc. We're really looking forward to it.

Finally some good news on the front. The new date is confirmed !!! Sustain will support After Forever on may the 20th, at their gig in Breda. We're hoping tokick some serious ass that night and maybe we'll have some surprises in store.

Sustain goes for the contest. April the 14th Sustain will appear on the first round of the booch contest. The first price of the contest is a place on the Booch Festival bill later this year.

Furthermore the Sliedrecht gig is final. We are looking forward to continue our package with Cooper inc.

It seems like a curse, but the mkk-gig is cancelled. Somehow the organistion had problems with the festivalname and they had to skip the date. The good news is that there will be another date. So as soon as we know it you will hear from us.

What we can tell you is that we have an option on june the 10th. Sustain and our freinds from cooper-inc will play at the elktra in Sliedrecht then. And of course we still have the Helmond gig on the 24th of march. So hopefully we can make some new friends there..

What an evening!!! Two melodic rockbands in a great place, playing good music!! That is how it was last saturday @ the radstake, just like these words from Patrick from the Rockstake say ,"ït was one big blast of power, show were it was about last saturday. For me personally an evening of real hardrock from a high level".

We think that this says enough of saturday. Hopefully we can find the time this week to add some cool pics of the show.

The news of today is not as good as we wanted it to be. The gig from 10th March, with After Forever, is blown off because of organisatoric reasons..

At the moment we are looking for a new date, for the package. As soon as we know more, you can read it on our site.

First of all we'd like to thank the people that showed up at our gig at the muziekcafe. It was a nice party!!!!!!!!

Then we can tell, that sustain will play, on march the 10th,in the hedon, Zwolle, together with our friends from After Forever!!And on march the 24th in plato, Helmond as opening act for Rattlesnake Remedy. As it seems, the Englisch answer to Guns'n'Roses!!

Check out the music section!!! We've added a promoclip for Hold on Tight !!! The lead vocals for the song were re-recorded by Jos, earlier this year!!!!

Also we can announce that Dave did a great job at the benefit for Jolanda. Altough the organisation of the festival was really f**cked up, Sustain kicked ass.

Because of the great feeling with Dave and the band he has decided to be a full member of the band.

Wow!! Saturday kicked ass!! Sustain would like to thank some people. First of all the people that came to Eijsden, to see our show and the Vandenplas show. Then a big THANKS for André !!! Dude, thanks for this awesome show.

Of course we want to thank the organisation. Keep up the good work. And last, but not least,Anton, the soundman, for making us sound good. Hopefully we're able to put some pics on the site this week from our show..

For the people who were not in Eijsden,You have to come to Brunssum!! When you're not coming for the music, you'll have to be there for Jolanda!!!

The biggest news first!!! Sustain has decided to split up with drummer Ralf Haan! Because of reasons, not interesting for you, we agreed that it would be better to go our own ways in the future. We want to thank him for his dedication to sustain in the last year.

For the 3 december gig in Eijsden, no-one less than André Borgman (After Forever) is willing to help us out on drums. Thanks a lot Andre !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From december the 10th on, Dave Coumans will take place behind the drums. A full introduction of Dave will come on a later date. For now we can only say, thanks a lot, for helping us out!!

On january 28th, sustain will play at the muziekcafe in Kerkrade again. We will support LA Connection that evening. LA Connection is a Bon Jovi / 80's coverband.

And then the result of the favourite sustain song-poll. Your fav. songs appeared to be Hold on Tight (28.6%),, followed by Red Hot, White LIes (26.9%) and Doomsday Theorie (16.6%).

First of all we would like to announce the fact that we will play at a benefit concert for Jolanda Rose. This 28 year old woman is the mother of two little kids and is diagnosed with a very agressive kind of cancer (osteosarcoom). To make a long story short, if she doesn't get the money (more than 40.000 euro's), to get the medical support she needs, she doesn't have much of a chance to see her kids grow up and has to leave her husband and family behind with a big black hole!!! So we would say be there and help Jolanda !!!!!!!

We also want to thank Joss and Theo, from Rock Inc., for their support.These are the people that work behind the scenes to promote us!! At this moment they are working on distribution deals in Greece, Italy and Spain. Once again a great chance to let more people enjoy our music!!

Not so much news this time. But we added a new piece to the press section.

Furthermore we can tell that the first gig for 2006 is confirmed. And that will be februari the 11th, at the rockstake in Lichtenvoorde.

In between now and 11th feb. we hope to play on a few other locations as well, but we don't think that should be a problem!!

The wepse gig is history. It was great!!! Thanks to Ruud "DE HOMMEL' for the food and lots of drinks.The guestappearence of Sander (Innocence) , during 'tie your mother down' was great also and last, but not least, thanks to Laura, for the great opnening of the gig. As soon as we have pics we'll throw them online.

a "small" update. On saturday the 3th of december Sustain will be support act for the German rockband Vanden Plas.This will be the only show in the Netherlands from them. The promoter asked Sustain to perform as opening act. .

First of all, we would like to announce the fact that Ralf is called "papa Ralf", since 19-7-05. He and Nicole are the proud parents of, Casper "Animal" Haan!!! Congratulations from the Band.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because of this, Ralf wasn't able to perform on the WMC gig, so the rest of the band did an acoustic session. The reactions from the audience were great.! One more time we'd like to thank the organisation for their understanding!! Next time we will play again, with Ralf on drums!! ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!

The biggest news at the moment is that Point Music is willing to distribute our album in Germany. At this moment the promo packages are on their way to the German press and hopefully there will be some great reactions.To be continued.

At first we wanted to thank everyone who was at the gig last saturday. It was great and we've had some great reactions.

Then we have Aram. He had an accident last saturday, while he was mountainbiking. He played an awsome gig.with an broken finger. The bad news is that he has to recover from his injury, for at least 2 months.

However the good news is that Sustain will play at the Bosuil in Weert the 21 of may. Luuk van Gerven (After Forever) will take Aram's place at this gig.

Hey people. The first gigs with Jos are done. At first we wanted to thank the people that went to see our show in Maastricht. Thanx for the great reactions!!! We hope the we've earned a few new Sustain fans..

Then we want to give you people a small taste of the new pictures with Jos. The rest of the shoot will be on the site end this week..

At last we want to thank the guys from Live A Live for the great show.Thanks to Rob the engineer who created a good sound in a very short time!!!. The samples of the show will be on the site at the end of the week, also.

Last wednesday we've done a new photo schoot. As soon as we have te first results, you will find them on the site.
